History of the Ndokwa Christian Assembly on Evangelism – Youth Wing

The Ndokwa Christian Congress on Evangelization was established in 1977, driven by a vision to unite Christians across Ndokwa land in the pursuit of spiritual revival, evangelistic outreach, and Christ-centered collaboration. For many years, the Congress thrived with active adult participation, but youth involvement remained minimal creating a noticeable void in generational succession.

Emerging Youth Focus (2009–2013)
The conversation around structured youth inclusion gained significant traction between 2009 and 2011, following persistent motions raised during Congress Council Meetings—first in Ogume (2009) and then in Aboh (2011).

In response, a youth-specific session was introduced into the Congress itinerary. This two-day segment, themed:
“Where Are the Youths from the Children of Yesteryears?”
First edit  held in:
2012 – Ndemili
Followed by
2013 – Obiaruku

This experimental program sparked enthusiasm and grassroots participation, sowing the seeds for a more permanent youth structure.
